Named after the Izalco volcano, the roast of this coffee highlights the cacao and light grape notes. As it is a washed process dark roast, the rich flavors present in the bean makes it easy to drink without additives.
Natural processing is one of the most old school ways to process coffee. After picking the coffee cherries from the trees, they are spread out on African beds to dry in the sun. Leaving on the mucilage, it provides flavors of fruitiness and sweetness with natural sugars left and dried on the coffee bean.
